Uses
What I'm currently using in my workflow and daily life.
I like to use things that make my day-to-day life easier and more efficient. Sometimes that's a piece of software, or a piece of furniture, or a board game that I enjoy playing with friends. I had a teacher who once said, "Technology is good when it enhances your interactions with everyday life." If it falls into that category, it is on this page.
Computing
Computing hardware and software that makes life more convenient.
- MacBook Pro 16" – It just works, and the backup with iCloud for my notes, calendar, and documents makes it easy to maintain my files.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max – Integrates well with the Macbook (and vice-versa). Makes my computer documents available to review on the go.
- Visual Studio Code – My primary editor, combined with Biome for my front-end linting/formatting and extensions such as the official Go/Rust/Vitest extensions, etc. for learning and development.
- Claude Code – Used on my personal projects for AI-assisted coding.
Ergonomics
Items to help protect my body and maintain good posture.
- Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse – I like the ergonomics, and coming from a previous generation of this device, it feels comfortable and familiar in the hand.
- Humanscale Freedom (with headrest) – A very ergonomic chair, that I don't have to configure every piece of to feel comfortable. My last one served me well for 15 years.
- Uplift Desk V2C – A sturdy adjustable desk which helps me from suffering too much from sedentary lifestyle.
